On 27 April 2022, President of the IPA Russian Section Yury Zhdanov made a report on the topic: ‘Anti-Russian Sanctions as a Global Violation of Human Rights: Legal Assessment and Counteraction Measures’ at the roundtable ‘Human Rights and Sanctions’. The event was organised by the High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova.
The roundtable was attended by parliamentarians, representatives of governmental and non-governmental organisations, educational and scientific institutions, commissioners for human rights in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, as well as members of the Expert Council under the High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation.
